D & K Costumes is a family owned and operated venture. We are located in beautiful “downtown” Lithia, Fl., one of the few rural areas still left in Hillsborough County. In spite of the rural location we are a short 10 to 15 minute drive from Brandon or Plant City, and an ever so slightly longer 25 to 30 minute drive to Tampa or Lakeland.
We have been providing costumes for local theater groups since 2005. At first we predominately worked with pre-teen and teen educational theater groups. More recently, we have been working with several community theaters, some as far away as Orlando.
In addition to theater work, we have done many individual costumes for the local Renaissance Festival and the Gasparilla Festival. We have also worked with the Patel Conservatory doing alterations and repair to their Nutcracker Ballet costumes. Additionally, we create and alter non-costume clothing.
